Sorry about the wait... Here's our first post with actual things!
First off, my love is way into gardening. Here are the strawberries in the front yard.
She is also growing potatoes in aluminum trash cans. She says she might write some essays for the blog, maybe she'll tell us about why big tall cylindrical containers yeild more spuds.
We have a pot in the front that's growing rhubarb and cabbage. There are beets planted there but they don't seem to have sprouted yet.
She also built this trellis, and has planted peas to climb up it. Also there is broccoli planted here.
We also bought some ginger and horse radish from the local co-op. They are planted and have sprouted. Pics will come later as they grow.
his blog is intended to be a record of the physical, you can hold it in your hand, style projects of two nerds living in Idaho. Sharon and Steve. I, Steve, will probably be the one writing the actual blog.
Our projects include but will not be limited too: gardening, woodworking, electronics and sewing. We'll be using the blog software that I've been working on, and documenting over at hirestevesmith.com. It's not complete, but it'll work for our purposes and we're both keen on DIY.
